Course descriptions: Grammar for Beginners
(5 weeks, 7.5 hrs)
Need a boost with Grammar?
Although our courses do not focus on grammar, one can't really build a strong foundation of a new language without it. In the end, we find that knowing grammatical concepts and terms speeds up the process of acquiring new forms. An example of this is irregular verbs. If we have a language to describe the patterns, it's easier to talk about and to have an image in mind of how something is constructed.
Grammar for Beginners is a 5-week (7.5 hr) course reviewing basic grammatical material that is covered in the first few levels at El Patio or at any other school.
Review and practice of:
- how the verbs work in Spanish (present (regular & irregular), reflexive verbs)
- masculine/feminine nouns and adjectives
- singular and plural nouns and adjectives
- pronouns (personal pronouns, direct and indirect object pronouns, reflexive pronouns)
If you don't really know what any of the above is about, then there's a good reason to join!
Textbook: no text to purchase as materials are provided and are included in the course fees
